Outpatient Programs

JourneyPure at Bowling Green’s goal is to help you get healthy and stay healthy. We do this by providing evidence-based therapies that treat your addiction as well as any mental health issues you may have such as anxiety, depression, trauma or bipolar. In doing this, we are able to root out the underlying causes of your addiction.

Our Outpatient Programs

Unlike inpatient care, outpatient treatment at JourneyPure Bowling Green allows individuals to continue living at home while attending structured therapy sessions throughout the week.

Intensive Outpatient Care (IOP)

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers structured therapy and support several days a week, allowing clients to continue their recovery journey while gradually transitioning back into daily life, work, or school.

Outpatient Care

Outpatient care provides flexible, less-intensive support through weekly therapy sessions and recovery check-ins—ideal for those who have completed higher levels of treatment and are maintaining long-term sobriety while living independently.

Medication Assisted Treatment

Medication-Assisted Outpatient Treatment combines FDA-approved medications with ongoing outpatient therapy and medical oversight, helping individuals manage cravings and maintain stability while living at home and continuing daily responsibilities.

The Benefits of Outpatient Programs at JourneyPure Bowling Green

Flexibility

Medical detox is the first step, but you’re not alone. You are comfortable and safe the entire time, which lasts one-to-10 days.

Continuity of Care

The majority of time is spent in therapy, reflecting on the feelings and issues behind your drug and alcohol use.

Peer Support

Between the emotional sessions and medical evaluations, you have time to reflect and relax with activities like yoga. Your meals are cooked by a personal chef.

Reduced Risk of Relapse

You dissect past relapses and make friends that support you after residential treatment.
